When opening a pool for the season or converting from chlorine, backwash filter, balance the water. Shock the pool to 5-10 ppm available chlorine or 10-20 ppm Available Bromine. When the bromine level drops to between 1 and 3 add .2 to 2 oz per 1,000 gallons of poolife® Bromine + daily or as needed. Use a suitable feeder device and adjust according to manufacturers instructions to maintain 1-3 ppm available bromine. Maintain ph between 7.2 and 7.8.
