poolife® Filter Cleaner is a product designed to remove oil, grease, dirt, and soap from all makes of cartridge filters. It is composed of an acidic solution which helps to break down organic and inorganic mater that accumulates in filters. poolife® Filter Cleaner works well with any type of filter.

To clean a sand filter Pour 1 quart of poolife® filter cleaner into the pump strainer basket. Turn pump on and backwash into the filter. When water appears in the sightglass or from air release valve, turn off pump, close all valves leading to and from the filter isolating the poolife® Filter cleaner in the filter overnight. Next day, backwash until the effluent water is clear (no foam), then return to normal operation. For DE and Cartridge filters please see label.

Can be used with all pool and spa sanitizing systems

Excellent for cleaning all types of pool filters use 2 to 3 times per season.

  • 1 pint to 4 gallons of water will clean up to 55 square feet of filter area.
  • Add filter to solution and soak for 3 – 6 hours, rinse with high pressure hose nozzle.
  • Clean your pool filter at least twice a season.
