Balance pool water, shock treat with a poolife® shock product following label directions. Stabilize your pool water using poolife® Stabilizer and Conditioner. Then add 1 tablet per 10,000 of pool water to a skimmer or floater every week or as needed to maintain a 1-4 ppm free available chlorine reading. The pool should not be entered until the chlorine residual is 1-4 ppm as measured with a test kit.
